He represents the Gopalpur assembly constituency in the Ganjam district as a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ganjam College, Ganjam, which is part of Berhampur University, in 1993.
He took his oath in Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar, on June 12, 2024, alongside Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhitook. They took their oath under Governor Raghubar Das.

He is entitled to the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management. Indian politician Suresh Kumar Pujari was born on July 29, 1960. In the 2019 Indian general election, he was elected as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Bargarh, Odisha, to the Lok Sabha, the lower chamber of the Indian Parliament.
He was elected to the Odisha Vidhan Sabha from the Brajrajnagar constituency in 2024 after running for the Vidhan Sabha rather than the Lok Sabha. Suresh Pujari served as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national secretary and represented Odisha in the BJP’s central committee, which was presided over by National President Amit Shah.
