The state government plans to construct an iconic IT tower in Satya Nagar, cementing Bhubaneswar’s position as a major technology hub in eastern India. The 34 floors above ground will include modern office spaces, while an observation deck on the top floor promises a panoramic view of the city.
The design emphasizes functionality, flexibility, and sustainability to meet current and future demands. The first two basements will accommodate 500 cars each, and the third will house 1,000 cars, addressing parking needs for a large workforce. The ground and first floors will feature a reception, lobby, club, library, and other amenities, creating a vibrant and employee-friendly environment. “The plan has been prepared to create an office building that adapts to evolving needs,” an OBCC official stated.

The project’s turnkey execution, managed by a single contractor, ensures efficiency and quality. OBCC has already initiated the tender process. The tower’s capacity to house 8,000 professionals will create significant employment opportunities. “Such a massive tower in the heart of the city will be magnificent. It’s the need of the hour to maintain Bhubaneswar’s image as an IT hub,” said Pratik Acharya, a city-based software engineer.
